Job Overview:

The Head of HR is responsible for leading the full 360° HR function across Furless Group. This role ensures a consistent, professional, and engaging employee experience across all HR touchpoints—from hiring to onboarding, development, performance management, employee relations, offboarding, and everything in between. The ideal candidate will shape culture, drive people strategy, safeguard HR compliance in UAE and Saudi Arabia, and maintain strong HR operations. This includes handling HR administration, employee relations, investigations, compensation alignment, HR documentation, and policy creation to support the rapid growth of Furless Group. This is a hands-on role requiring strategic thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to manage HR and scale the function for a fast-growing, multi-entity, multi-country organization. 


Key Responsibilities:

1. Culture & Employee Experience:

  • Develop and execute culture-building strategies that support Furless values and business goals.
  • Lead employee engagement plans: surveys, feedback cycles, recognition programs, wellness initiatives.
  • Strengthen DEI practices and ensure inclusive workplace practices.
  • Build frameworks to improve communication, transparency, and trust across all levels.
  • Support conflict prevention by creating strong communication norms and team climate practices. 

2. Talent Acquisition & Development:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for UAE & KSA: sourcing, screening, interviewing, referencing, selecting.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and future workforce needs.
  • Oversee all onboarding processes, ensuring readiness (IT, HR files, systems access, schedules, induction).
  • Manage recruitment pipelines for all roles.
  • Strengthen employer branding and create a strong presence across social media, job boards, and partnerships with marketing department. 

3. Learning, Development & Performance

  • Design and manage employee development programs and personalized growth plans.
  • Implement the performance management cycle (mid-year & year-end), including calibration and feedback.
  • Create capability-building frameworks for supervisors, managers, and new leaders.
  • Track completion of training requirements and ensure continuous development across all entities.
  • Coordinate external training or certifications when required. 

4. Employee Relations & People Support 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, or conflict.
  • Conduct investigations when needed and document findings professionally.
  • Support managers in handling performance issues, behavioral concerns, or disciplinary cases.
  • Ensure all actions are aligned with legal requirements and company values.
  • Foster a culture of psychological safety and consistent communication. 

5. HR Operations, Policies & Compliance 

  • Maintain accurate HR files, documentation, contracts, policy manuals, and employee records.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies, handbooks, SOPs, and compliance checklists.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE and Saudi labor laws.
  • Coordinate visa processing, onboarding paperwork, insurance, and government portal updates.
  • Manage HR reporting: headcount, turnover, absenteeism, leave balances, disciplinary records.
  • Oversee leave management, attendance, probation tracking, contract renewals, and warnings.
  • Ensure proper execution of promotions, transfers, salary changes, and organizational structure updates. 

6. Compensation, Payroll & Benefits 

  • Work with Finance to ensure payroll accuracy and timely processing.
  • Review payroll inputs (commissions, overtime, allowances, deductions).
  • Manage benefits programs (insurance, leave, travel, UAE & KSA entitlements).
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and support salary structure updates.
  • Ensure compliance with EOSB, tax requirements, and Saudi GOSI obligations. 

7. HR Systems & Analytics

  • Maintain and enhance HRIS usage (Yomly or future systems).
  • Generate monthly HR dashboards with meaningful insights for leadership.
  • Track recruitment metrics, turnover, performance trends, leave patterns, and training progress.
  • Recommend improvements based on data trends. 

8. Leadership & Strategic Partnership 

  • Advise the CEO and leadership team on all HR matters impacting the business.
  • Build people strategies aligned with expansion plans internationally.
  • Lead the HR contribution during new country openings or new branch setups.
  • Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Strengthen leadership capability across the company through coaching and structured programs. 

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum 7-12 years HR experience, with at least 5 years in HR leadership/managerial roles.
  • Strong command of UAE & Saudi labor law; GCC experience required.
  • Experience in beauty, retail, wellness, hospitality, or clinical environments preferred.
  • Proven success in managing 360° HR cycles: recruitment → onboarding → HR ops → performance → development → offboarding.
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with integrity and discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
